52 Ancestors – 52 Weeks
This week’s prompt is Wedding. As a young woman I loved to read the newspaper accounts of weddings. The articles described the bride and bridemaids’ dresses, the wedding venue detailing flowers and other decorations, honeymoon destination, address of the new couple’s home and the date that the couple would welcome guests to their home.
I do not have written details of my grandparents’ or parents’ weddings. I am pleased that I have pictures of the bridal parties and pertinent details of their special days.
